Sports Trainer Level 1 Re-Accreditation

The Sports Trainer Level 1 qualification is valid for 3 years. This course once completed will re-accredit current Sports Trainers for another 3 years.

Course Content

• Review any changes to treatment/management of sporting injuries
• Review management of common medical conditions
• Update concussion policy
• Sports taping

Prerequisites

• Current Sports Trainer Level 1 or which has expired for less than 6 months
• Current First Aid Certificate HLTAID011
• Current CPR Certificate HLTAID009
• Letter from Club to verify current experience, that you have been a Sports Trainer in the last 12 months

Assessment

• Demonstration of practical skills
• Role play/scenario work
• Written assessment

Certificate

A Sports Trainer Level 1 Certificate will be issued by First Aid Management & Training Centre upon successful completion of the course. The Certificate is valid for 3 years.

Trainers

First Aid Management & Training Centre's trainers deliver this course, they all have relevant industry experience.
